The most noticeable feature based on which consumers buy their bed sheets is the color or the print pattern.The two most important qualities that the consumers also should determine are:
1. The Thread Count
2. Type of Fabric

Thread Count or TC means the number of threads per square inch of a fabric. Higher the number of threads, finer and higher the quality of the fabric. Thread Counts range from 120 TC to 300 TC and above. Bedsheets that are 300 TC and above are of high quality and comfort and are tagged under the luxury category.

100% Cotton, Polyester, CVC (Chief Value Cotton, Mix of cotton with other fabric with the former being higher in ratio) and 100% Polyester are the most predominantly used fabrics to make bed sheets. 100% Cotton is the most favourable material as it is a natural fiber.

Cotton is a natural fiber and is the best fabric that can be used for bed sheets. Cotton provides superior comfort and also absorbs moisture. Most of DECASO's bedding range consists of 100% Cotton Fabric.

There are two types of bedsheets:
1. Flat Bedsheet: It is simply a rectangular sheet of cloth. In India Flat Sheet is used to cover the mattress while in western countries it is usually used as a top sheet or a blanklet.
2. Fitted Bedsheet: It has all four corners fitted with elastic. It is primarily used to be put on the matteress. In India, customers use Fitted Bed Sheet as a substitute for Flat Bed Sheet, as per their preference.

DECASO's double bed sheet set consists of one double size bedsheet with two pillow covers. In case of single size bed sheet, the set has one single size bed sheet with one pillow cover.

To take care of your bedding you need to follow these simple rules:
1. Do not use harsh detergent or bleaches to wash the bedding.
2. Do not use hot water to wash your bedding.
3. Handwash or Machine wash your bedding with water below 40 degrees celcius.
4. Dry your bedding in shade, avoid direct sunlight because too much exposure often results in fading of the colors.

After first wash, cotton bed sheets typically shrink around 3-5% typically. Generally, after 2-3 washes the bed sheet stops shrinking. DECASO bed sheet sets are made into measurements including the percentage shrinkage, thus ensuring the products to fit properly even after the washes.
